Delivering mission-critical communications for the digital era
Where communication is critical, Simoco Wireless Solutions delivers innovation, reliability and absolute trust.
We provide complete wireless solutions from initial consultancy, through system design, project delivery to ongoing operational support, ensuring that organisations can transmit mission-critical voice and data smartly and securely, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Our networks are among the world’s biggest, keeping devices connected across borders and on the move, in some of the industry’s most challenging environments.
We use a combination of our own technologies and those from leading vendors to deliver the best-fit solution for each customer. Our smart approach to unified communications enables organisations to draw together disparate technologies across multiple sites and assets, transitioning effortlessly to next-generation standards like LTE. By combining new smart technologies with existing voice and data capabilities across radio, IP, mobile devices, cellular and Wi-Fi, we help organisations benefit from the ever-expanding Internet of Things (IoT) and introduce new communications capabilities, without sacrificing security or reliability. From straightforward voice and data communications through to advanced features like geo-tracking and mapping services, our objective is always to provide unrivalled reliability and quality.
Our history of innovation in mission-critical communications spans from delivering military-grade radio communications in the years before the Second World War to developing our own Digital Mobile Radio (DMR) network – Simoco Xd. We have led the development of new radio standards and protocols, such as MPT1327, POCSAG and TETRA, and have been instrumental in shaping the wider telecommunications and emerging digital communications landscapes.
With over 70 years of experience operating at the forefront of the radio and mobile communications industry – and a forward-thinking approach that is continually providing new technologies for a digitally-driven future - our rich communications heritage is something on which you can rely.
We work across multiple sectors, helping organisations including utilities providers, public service operators and airports to communicate and innovate. We ensure that emergency services get where they need to be in for life-saving missions. We keep airport personnel communicating clearly and securely. And we help utilities organisations to develop and expand smart grids, creating connected communities for the future.
