What is Simulcast

Simultaneous radio transmission, or Simulcast systems, are ideal when you have a wide area to cover and a limited number of frequencies available. By using a Simoco Wireless Solutions Simulcast system, it is possible to broadcast the same signal across multiple overlapping sites on the same frequency at the same time. This means that users can move between sites without having to worry about changing channels, and dispatchers can rely on transmissions being broadcast from all sites simultaneously with received communications being automatically channelled through the site with the strongest received signal.
